The Chennai Chapter of the Indian Liberal Group (ILG) has published a report on its study of Costs of Formal Schooling in Chennai (December 2003).
ILG conducted a survey based on secondary sources of data in a 'convenient' sample of 42 schools in Chennai (not necessarily a representative sample as they declare). The figures on the fees charged in the schools surveyed are provided below. Excerpts from the report are described in a separate post.
