My world line has passed through the following co-ordinates in the past

• Schooling in Kalpakkam and New Delhi
  
• Bachelor's in Physics (Loyola College, Madras)
  
• M.Sc. in Physics (IIT, Madras)
  
• M.S. in Physics and part work on my Ph.D (Cornell University, USA)
  
• A year's leave of absence from Cornell University spent travelling around India, after which I decided to stay back in India
  
• Founder Director of CricInfo in India in 1997-98 handling various functions at different times ranging from sales & marketing to editorial to operations. After CricInfo and Wisden merged in February 2003, continued with Wisden CricInfo's Indian operations in Chennai till December 2005, with responsibility for business development and finance.
  
• Co-founded New Horizon Media, a publishing company, in early 2004 with a focus on publishing in Indian languages.
  

My current co-ordinates are Director, New Horizon Media, Alwarpet, Chennai.

My blogs, Education in India, The Publishing Horizon and, Prayatna reflect my thoughts. Publishing being my current business and Education being one of my long standing interests, my blogs on these topics tend to get more of my attention than Prayatna, my general blog.

My longer term interest is to create affordable, sustainable, replicable school education models (K-12) by working with and around the existing education system, with the goal of providing ample opportunities for every individual to live up to his/her highest potential. My next venture will have something do with education.
